At EZ Purchases, we are committed to delivering your products efficiently and transparently. This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping processes, estimated delivery times, and costs, in compliance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
1. Order Processing
All orders placed with EZ Purchases are processed on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in Queensland, Australia).
Order Cut-off Time: Our daily cut-off time for order processing is 00:00 AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time). This means orders placed before midnight AEST are processed on the current business day, and orders placed from 00:00 AEST onwards will be processed on the following business day.
Processing Time: Once your order is placed, it typically takes 1-3 business days to prepare your items for shipment. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been dispatched.
2. Shipping Methods and Delivery Estimates
We partner with reliable carriers to ensure your products reach you safely.
a) Domestic Shipping (Within Australia):
- Shipping Method: We currently offer Standard Shipping (Free) within Australia.
- Carrier: We primarily use reputable Australian carriers such as Australia Post and Aramex. The specific carrier for your order will be indicated at checkout and in your shipping confirmation.
- Estimated Delivery Time: Once dispatched, most domestic orders are delivered within 5-15 business days.
- Note on Delays: Please be aware that delivery times can vary depending on your specific location within Australia, unforeseen carrier delays, and peak seasons (e.g., December). We will do our best to communicate any significant delays.
b) International Shipping (Outside Australia):
- Availability: At this time, we do not offer international shipping. Our delivery services are limited to Australia-wide.
3. Shipping Costs
For all domestic orders within Australia, we offer free standard shipping.
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number and a link to track your parcel's journey.
- Please allow up to 2-3 business days for tracking information to become active within the carrier's system.
- You can track your order directly via the link in the email or by visiting our dedicated Tracking Page on our website.
5. Undelivered or Lost Shipments (Risk of Loss)
If your order has not arrived after the maximum estimated delivery time (e.g., 15 business days for standard domestic shipping) or if the tracking indicates a significant delay:
- Please contact us immediately at
support@ezpurchases.com. - We will open an investigation with the shipping carrier to locate your parcel.
- Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), the risk of loss or damage to an item during transit generally remains with the seller until the item is delivered to you, the consumer. If your package is confirmed lost by the carrier and was not delivered through no fault of your own, we will issue a full refund or a replacement, at your choice, as per your rights under the ACL.
6. Incorrect Address or Non-Delivery (Customer Responsibility)
It is your responsibility to ensure that your shipping information is accurate and complete at the time of purchase. EZ Purchases is not responsible for:
- Orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
- Delivery delays due to incorrect or incomplete information (e.g., missing unit number, wrong postcode).
- If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, or if it remains unclaimed at a postal facility (e.g., after failed delivery attempts), you will be responsible for reshipment costs. A refund will only be issued for the product cost (excluding original shipping fees) if you choose not to have the item resent, and a restocking fee may apply.
